The children were sleeping at the crib, as I was strapped in with a baby on my back. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to come together but it wasn't quite finished. Numerous people reached me seeking advice on home improvement and decorating. A majority of these were those who had walked through my home during the open house for furniture! Once I had a few months I started taking on clients at my pace. Before long I had multiple accounts, as well as a house remodeling business. It would have probably laughed at me had you had said that this would become the basis of an DIY Network tv series. In fact, I do laugh when I think about the idea.
