Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield is an American actor, producer, and director who was born in Los Angeles California. He is known for his performances in movies including The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield began his career as a theater actor prior to his TV debut in 2005 with Sugar Rush as well as his feature debut on film with Mumbo Jumbo. In 2010, he gained notoriety for his character in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the beloved character from the latest film version directed by Marc Webb. Ben is his elder brother. He is the father of American Richard Garfield & British Lynn Hillman. The family relocated from the United States to England when he was three. He was educated and brought up in Surrey. Early on, he began learning to act and participating in school plays. It was the Central School of Speech and Drama was where he began his career in theatre.
