Jenna Fischer's most well-known role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly popular television series The Office. The actress won two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but her family was primarily from St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was impressed by her mother's worship services at the time she started her journey.
Theater actress with training, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to Be Happy. After starring in Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she performed in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer started the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October the year 2019. The podcast soon became popular. Every week it ranked within the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloads in its first couple years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends there. The memoir deals with the relationship between them and how they worked in the production of The Office.
